Hey all, so we haven’t had much to show you since we’ve been nestled in the Fort Myers area after leaving Punta Gorda, but we wanted to let you know we’re alive and well. I haven’t updated the website in awhile but will post a map of our 2021 itinerary soon.
We’ve been fighting to get the Covid vaccine and managed to get shot 1 for Bubba in our local county, but had to trek 330 miles to the other side of the state to get mine. (Too many old farts in our area, including us, HA!) Shots 2 for both of us are scheduled, but hope to be closer to my location in 4 weeks time!
We’ve done a bit of kayaking between cold snaps and high winds, spotted gators and caught some fish.
We spent a beautiful day on the water with friends Bev & Dar…
…beached it a few times…
and I even picked up a couple new hobbies during those cold snaps when it was too blustery to be outside.
I don’t know what I’ll do with all the shells I’ve painted and blinged out, thinking about selling them?!
Hope you are all well and safe. We miss you all. We’re hoping to spend a couple weeks in Colorado in October before we settle for the winter in Arizona again, then hang up our driving gloves and land somewhere permanently.
